Being of German origin, Teupen Spiderlifts are engineered to a very
high standard, with the use of the finest components. Although this
increases the purchase price, true value is the natural by-product
via lower ‘life’ or ‘ownership’ costs.
When manufacturing Spiderlifts, Teupen give great consideration
to:
- High Performance
- Longevity
- Reliability
- Reduced down time
- Low service costs
- High resale value
Many of the original Teupen Spiderlifts, now some 20 years old,
are still in use today and their condition and residual values
pay testament to the German philosophy that high engineering
standards pay dividends in the long run.
the English Philosopher John Ruskin cautioned people of the dangers
of paying too little for something of value:
“It is unwise to pay too much, but it is much worse
to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little
money, that’s all. When you pay too little, you sometimes
lose everything because the product you bought was incapable
of doing the things it was bought to do. The common law of
business practice prohibits paying a little and getting a lot
... it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder
it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you
do that, you’ll have enough to pay for something better.”
