Ranger Equipment acquires Teupen dealership for the UK
Ranger Equipment of Chesterfield in Derbyshire has announced its
appointment as the exclusive UK dealer for the high quality Teupen
range of tracked access platforms.
Based in Germany, Teupen was the pioneer of platforms mounted
onto tracked undercarriages, has a well-established reputation
throughout Europe and is generally regarded as the premier manufacturer
of specialist platforms with a large range of models with maximum
working heights from 12 m to 50 m. In particular the company
offers 23, 25, 30 and 36 m reach machines mounted on narrow,
lightweight chassis for maximum operating versatility which will
be of interest to customers in the UK where confined sites are
the norm.
All Teupen models feature self-centering telescopic boom sections
which eliminate side-to-side movement at cage level for smooth,
comfortable operation and all the latest units are equipped with
a patented corner mount cage system. This system allows the cage
to be rotated through 180° in a horizontal plane, making
the platforms perfect when work is required to be carried out
on roofs and chimneys.
The flagship model in Teupen's line-up is the Leo 50GT which
has a working height of up to 50 m with over 20 m of horizontal
outreach. Despite its outstanding performance, the Leo 50GT folds
down to a 1.58 m wide, 8.3 m long and 1.98 m high transport package
able to pass through a standard double doorway.
