Ranger Equipment of Chesterfield is the award winning UK importer
for the Teupen range of quality access platforms manufactured
in Germany and is exhibiting a selection of machines ideally
suited for use by arboriculturists.
Although best known for its wide range of track mounted machines,
Ranger will be launching a new trailer mounted unit on its stand
- the Gepard 15GT. This lightweight platform has a useful 15
m of working height with a lateral outreach of up to 6.4 m and
provides a less expensive alternative to the company's popular
tracked Leo15GT which will also be on display.
The new trailer model is very compact considering its performance
and with a all-up weight of only 1500 kg it can easily be towed
behind a typical van or 4x4 truck. It is therefore ideal for
many applications where there is no requirement for the abilities
of a Teupen self-propelled tracked platform.
Ranger Equipment will also be showing other examples from its
traditional tracked range including the 23 m reach Leo 23GT and
30 m reach Leo 30T. Both these platforms offer outstanding rough
terrain performance and an ability to tackle hills of up to 30%
grade. In addition, these Teupen models feature 'fuzzy logic'
controls for safe and accurate placement of the basket within
a tree canopy.
