The pioneer of the tracked access platform over 20 years ago, Teupen
Maschinenbau GmbH were the first to combine tracked chassis with
spider leg shaped stabilisers. This combination created a machine
that could drive and be operated on almost any surface, from delicate
internal floors, to soft, slippery and rough terrain.
Tracked Chassis
Designed to spread the load of the machine across a larger
area than with wheels, thus reducing ground bearing pressure. This
particular feature is popular with Architects and Facilities Managers
who have to work within particularly low floor loadings.
Spider stabilisers
Giving the ability to fold down narrow ensure that
all Teupen Spiderlifts can access standard single and double doorways.
The increased leveling ability ensures safe operation on slopes
and uneven ground.
Low surface load
Teupen Spiderlifts exert an especially low surface
load whilst setup in their working position. Modern architecture
and floor designs dictate that typical floor surface loadings must
not exceed 5kN/m². Teupen Spiderlifts generate surface loadings
significantly lower than this.
Dual energy source
With combinations of diesel or LPG engine and 110v,
230v or 400v AC motor, Teupen Spiderlifts are designed to work
inside or out. On some models DC battery pack is also an option.
Class leading performance
Teupen Spiderlifts offer more outreach, working height
and capacity, whilst keeping weights to a class leading low and
stabiliser widths to a minimum.
